The dbc does not charge for membership because it is a user pays organisation. members pay to attend workshops and short courses. That's how the dbc is funded.

Design aware clients

A major aim of the dbc is to show businesses how to profit from using design. We run workshops, roundtable discussions and conduct design audits for business. We conduct surveys to gauge the use of design in business. All of the information gained from the workshops, audits and surveys is interpreted through design in business white papers. These papers assist businesses by showing how peers have successfully incorporated design into their business operations.

Member directory

Each year the dbc will produce a design member directory. This will be both an online and CD rom directory, Business owners who attend dbc workshops will be referred to the website directory and given a copy of the CD. This will allow business owners to readily access a database of designers from all disciplines.

Podcasts
|
Member only regular podcasts will be released for designers and clients to cover design management issues using interviews with industry experts.

Membership of the dbc is free and open to all participants in the design loop.
