The dbc has been established to 'close the loop' in the process of designing. We involve all the participants in the process of designing for marketing and communications; designers, clients, design buyers, design users, design service providers, educators and students.

There are 4 categories of membership set out on the membership application form; designers, design buyers/clients/business owners, educators, students.

Membership benefits

The Design Effectiveness case studies only features work of members. The case studies are featured on the dbc website.

Membership of the dbc is free and open to all participants in the design loop.

Design buyers/clients/business owners

Seminars and workshops for design buyers and clients have been specially prepared to assist business owners in using a designer.

dib is a series of workshops, events and programs that show business owners how to make better use of design.

dib includes design SWOT analysis, Design roundtables and design audits. These are supported by a series of intensive workshops that help business owners benefit from design.
