dbc is a design and business networking organisation that aims to build
an Australian design community that is recognised for its creativity
and professionalism; an industry that acts collaboratively with a
cohesive voice. We aim to connect business to design and design to business.
We aim to close the design loop by bringing designers and businesses together.
We champion effective design that brings bottom line results.
The challenge for Australian businesses
Increasingly Australian businesses are having to compete in global markets.
And many have identified design as the key to improving their competitiveness.
The challenge is to integrate design into their everyday business
practice.
The dbc 2011 program of professional development and design promotion
will assist design firms and businesses as they face the challenge. Membership of the dbc is free and open to all participants in the design loop.
